The story of El Verde started in January 2012 when the Chef Asif and his team have developed their unique fusion cuisine. Using traditional recipes, El Verde cooking brings together the aromatic and spicy dishes of Latin America with the more delicate flavours of the Mediterranean. The diversity of our ingredients will transport your palate into a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
All of El Verde's food is carefully chosen. The meat and poultry must be fresh and tender, the fruit and vegetables sweet and crisp. Everything on the menu is prepared and cooked everyday on the premises. We are really proud of our cuisine, as we don't compromise with the food quality, safety and the freshness of our ingredients.
El Verde has a slowfood and fairtrade policy.
At El Verde, we offer a catering and event service with a difference. The restaurant has a reputation for being one of the best Latin American and Mediterranean restaurants in Brussels and we bring the same level of freshness and quality to our events and catering service.

To me, the best thing about El Verde, is that you get to eat great tacos without having the feeling that you’re gonna take 5 days to digest them. And personally, it’s the first time that happens to me. Here, the keywords, are freshness and slow food. — Chloe’s Blog
What’s more Latino then a taco crafted from it’s capital’s very own culinary traditions. Ok, maybe taxation on the number of children… but that’s a different review. Today’s review: El Verde Beef Tacos — This self satisfying stack of graded beef could make a nun weak in the knees. This summer sexpot has all it’s cow’s in a row: Soft corn tortillas encrusted in a smattering of diced South American sirloin steak, smothered in guacamole, and feathered with fresh spring onions. In other words… this tacos is straight up bovine cocaine. Hold onto your noses.
